We encourage customers to visit Sweet Meadows to experience the size, detail, and artistry of our work firsthand.
If you live too far away to visit in person, you may reserve a piece by calling us directly. We are happy to hold your purchase for pickup, or in some cases, delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Outdoor Care & Maintenance

While our carvings are preserved for outdoor display, all wood exposed to the elements requires periodic maintenance, just like the wood siding, deck, or porch of a home.

To keep your carving looking its best and ensure it lasts for many years:

Apply a clear Spar Urethane twice each year. (Oil based Minwax Helmsman or Varathane brand).
Do not use a Polyurethane as it creates a hard shell that cracks and peels.
Inspect the finish periodically for signs of weathering.
Recoat as needed, especially after harsh weather exposure.

With proper care and maintenance, your Cedar Mountain Designs carving can provide years of enjoyment whether displayed in your home, garden, or landscape.
